Excelsior Dolomites Life Resort

Everything was a high level surprise: from the kitchen : from breakfast (home made croissants, krafen, cakes and fruit salad), to the snack (2 cakes and a lot of tasty fruit) and dinner with the final triumph. The buffet was varied, plentiful and always replenished. The courses in the evening meals seemed to master chef, served by waiters very polite and careful. The pool water is not too cold, while the outside pool very enjoyable, warm and in front of a beautiful scenario. The Sauna area offers a variety of treatments, with the heat and steam. The hotel organization is perfect if you want biking, hiking or try archery. Also e-bike are available (paying) and this can be helpful if you are not an expert biker. The room was large and clean, finally with enough place to hang our things. And last but not least the smile and the kindness of the staff let us the desire to come back there.

A truly magical stay in the stunning dolomites! The facilities and amenities are incredible, our room was a new garden room which was spacious, luxurious and well thought out for a ski holiday. The new luxury spa and gym were great to use after a day on the slopes to unwind and relax. The ski in/out, ski school and ski hire was so easy to sort, this is skiing made easy at the highest level. The food was very good and varied, you had a nice choice of options for dinner along with a good breakfast and lunch. The drinks, in particular the cocktails, were on another level; there are cocktails and there are cocktails! Their signature cocktails are thoughtful and well prepared using their own homemade ingredients, some of which, take 6 months to prepare. What really made this holiday special though was the incredible staff, who were happy, so passionate and so friendly. Literally nothing was too much trouble. Whether it was Simona looking after us in the restaurant or Luka and the bar staff preparing their take on a Mai Tai for us, we were made to feel very special. We have made some very special memories here, some new friends and are now emotionally connected to this wonderful hotel. It is was clear the staff are very happy working here and there were a vast number of repeat guests; some we spoke to, were on their 9th year. The Call family have created a very special place here with a winning formula. Will we be back? We have already reserved our room for next year. This is our third stay at the Excelsior and it is still as fantastic as ever.All the Staff are fabulous and do all they can to make your holiday one to remember.The food is amazing with a varied choice on the menu.The bedrooms are so clean and comfortable and the Spa infinity pool has breathtaking views.The masseuse is very experienced and helped my aches and pains enormously.I can not fault this hotel or it’s staff.
